The space
Freshly renovated home offering open air living, kitchen and dining areas.
3 large bedrooms (2 queens, 1 king ) and 1 bathroom with shower.

There is a gas grill as well as a charcoal grill.... be sure to bring your charcoal.
We have a huge lot where you can park your Boat, Trailer, RV or Camper.
There is a security camera located outside at the front of the property.
The lot is very private with tons of majestic live oak trees covered in Spanish moss. Shade is abundant and there is usually a nice breeze. You can sit on the covered porch which is mostly shaded and protected from the rain. There is a fire pit and burn barrel at the back of the property. You will find lawn chairs stored on the back porch.
There are 2 exterior clothes lines to dry your clothes or towels after a day at the beach.
The property backs on 900 acres of forest. You may be lucky enough to see some of the wildlife that inhabit the area.
Deer, ducks, wild turkey, rabbits, armadillos, owls, wood peckers and dozens of species of birds as well as snakes.
The deer come to feed in the yard and just beyond the pond and towards the pasture on the right of the house. You can see them from the kitchen and living room between 6:00 and 8:00 pm. Most afternoons a couple are sure to walk across the yard. Bring some deer corn and you are sure to get wonderful photos.
Locals fish in the creeks along Cox Road, just park and throw in a line!

Guests have access to the entire property.
You can find lawn chairs on the back porch.
The fire pit and burn barrel are yours to use just bring some fire wood.
BBQ and Charcoal grills are also available.
You can walk around the property. Bordered by the white sandy road and the roped off area that goes out towards the cleared land.
When facing the property, towards the left of the mailbox if you take the road to the left walk a few hundred feet you will see a path in the brush on the right which you can walk several hundred feet towards the back of the property. It will take you to a road at the back of the property. That is private posted land do not go past that road. You can walk through the bushes and find a few paths that lead back to the house.
Other things to note
** The cabin is heated with a propane gas heater for the kitchen, dining and living area. Space heaters are provided for the bedrooms.
** Our home is pet friendly and open to cats and well trained, house broken dogs only.
The pet fee shown in listing is for up to 2 small to medium pets per stay of 2 days or less. Please inform us of your pets before booking to confirm or adjust the pet fee. With 7 acres of land to roam on they will be very happy here!
**Washer and dryer are available however you must bring your own detergent.
**Clothes lines are also available on the property if you wish to hang your clothes outdoors.
